RIMA Certificate Program — Data for Social Good
We partner with Bard College to support researchers and educators who
use the Russian Independent Media Archive (RIMA) in their work. Each
year, we offer a series of online courses on archiving, data tools, and
history as part of the Smolny Beyond Borders initiative.
Our courses explore how data can be used in the modern world to resist autocracy, strengthen independent institutions, and promote social change. Participants may take individual courses or earn a RIMA Certificate upon completing three of them.
