In this online mini-course, we will delve into the complexities of disability identity through reflective and deliberate practices of slow writing and reading. The teacher will work as a moderator, participating alongside the group in exploring essays, fiction excerpts, and poetry. Together, we will engage in private, non-academic writing forms to uncover new perspectives and deepen our understanding of the lived experience of disability. This course fosters thoughtful, inclusive dialogue aimed at enriching our collective and individual narratives.
