We are pleased to announce a second round of admissions and have extended the application deadline to June 24, 2026.

The Smolny Associate Degree Online Program is a two-year academic program designed for Russian-speaking students from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and other countries of the Eurasian region who have been forced to leave their home countries and currently lack access to a full-fledged international university education.

Graduates of the program receive a Bard College Associate of Arts degree, the first stage of undergraduate education in the American higher education system. Upon completion of the program, students may continue their studies at institutions within the Bard College network (subject to available funding or scholarships) or transfer to other universities around the world.
