The goal of these six workshops is to help students interested in the SBB program to establish an initial connection with the institution while developing the language skills necessary for academic success. The sessions will focus on academic English skills, particularly oral expression and comprehension.  We will cover note-taking strategies and staying focused during extended lectures as well as topics like communication in group projects, classroom participation, and contacting professors.  Some sessions will also be dedicated to giving academic presentations and conducting online research. Throughout the program, the focus will be on interactive activities and collaborative work.  Students who attend a minimum of five workshops in the series will be eligible for a completion certificate.
