The University of Westminster hosted the opening of Denis Skopin’s photo exhibition Symptoms of War on October 15 at Fyvie Hall, London. The exhibition presents a powerful collection of photographs taken by Skopin in St. Petersburg in 2022, during the first months following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The exhibition accompanied the expert panel discussion “The War in Ukraine: Impact and Response”, organised by the School of Social Sciences and the Centre for the Study of Democracy. Denis Skopin took part in the discussion, contributing his perspectives as both a photographer and scholar.
