SBB Faculty Yuriy Latysh on the Situation with Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Bodies
SBB faculty member, historian, and publicist Yuriy Latysh has shared his expert opinion with Novaya Gazeta Europe regarding the recent developments that have weakened the independence of Ukraine’s anti-corruption institutions.

According to Yuriy Latysh, this move should not be seen merely as a reaction to a specific investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau — which may involve one of President Zelensky’s close associates. He emphasized that it is part of a broader policy to strengthen the vertical of power pursued by the Head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak.
