On Monday, August 18, at 7:30 PM EDT (both online and in person), Microscope Gallery in New York will host a screening of films by Moscow-born, Mexico City–based artist and filmmaker Masha Godovannaya.

The program includes seven short works created between 2016 and 2024 on 16mm film and video. Godovannaya’s lyrical, detail-oriented yet bold approach spans a variety of forms and subjects, while always maintaining a poetic foundation.

Following the screening, audiences will have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with the artist.
