Evgeniya Polyakova

PhD in Economics, the National Research University Higher School of Economics

Evgeniya Polyakova is an economist with extensive experience in data analysis, supported by advanced training in statistics and econometrics. She studied economics at the MS program of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Higher School of Economics, Moscow.

Dr. Polyakova was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics at the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg and worked as a Research Analyst at the Institute of Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge at Higher School of Economics in Moscow. She was also invited to teach at the Social Science Division at the Bard-affiliated Smolny College in St. Petersburg and lectured at the Data Science Bootcamp organized by Statistics Without Borders in collaboration with the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

She combined academic work with practical consulting projects, collaborating with commercial enterprises, non-profit organizations, and humanitarian initiatives. Her work involved analyzing various types of data, including large-scale cross-sectional and panel datasets, text databases, and social media data.
