The subject of the course is political theories, as well as artistic and everyday practices of the 1920-1930s, associated with the production of a new subject (the formation of specific ideas in the field of physiology, psychology, pedagogy, ethnography, philosophy of language and literary theory, etc.) and the new Soviet everyday culture (from new practices of gender relations to the development of hygiene programs and physical education programs).

7) Applicants either unaffiliated or affiliated with educational institutions in Russia and Belarus should list ‘Smolny Beyond Borders’ as their educational institution.
8) In the student ID section, enter ‘SBB’.
9) Consider drafting your motivation letter ahead of time. Save it as a separate file with this format: LastName_FirstName_CourseTitle for a smoother application process.
